Look up condos on whatever island you wish to visit. There are some pretty decent deals out there.

If you go to Maui, there is something called Kamaole Sands.

Renting a house will have many provisions, such as paying a deposit from $500 - 3000 and then it ranges from $170 - 1500 or more per night, depending on where you stay.
If you are going to Oahu, I would recommend Hilton Hawaiian Village. It’s a very nice hotel with tons of shops, tourist attractions and access to bus stops and downtown within minutes of walking.

what island are you going to? if you go to maui, there’s also outrigger aina nalu in lahaina. much nicer than kamaole sands.

A good place to start is the gohawaii.com, which you can get a Free Visitors Guide from the bureau that could help you plan your trip. yelp.com/biz/aqua-continental-honolulu is also recommended because what is great about this site is that you can read the reviews by individuals who have stayed at hotels you might be interested in. Also, go-hawaiian-islands.com/topicResults.cfm?topic=lodge&lDestIDs=2535 gives you the top 3 hotel sites listed to help you pick a great hotel like Aqua Resorts, Park Shore Waikiki…etc. Aquaresorts.com also offers many different hotels in great locations by the beach that you might be interested in.

i agree with kamaole sands. i’ve stayed a few times and i live here. i will again. it;s a very nice inexpensive place. nice location
