First thing: Flying from where? Oahu is most likely the cheapest island. The other islands are very expensive as I have found out. I just booked an Eight night vacation for myself and my gf. Found a nice hotel/condo for about $2000.00 for the 8 nights, just off the beach in Waikiki. Could have done it for less, but decided on a nicer Hotel as our airfare was only $15.00 for 2 r/t First Class tickets.(I used Frequent Flier Miles to get airline tickets so we spent a little more on hotel). Saw that the hotels avg about $120.00 per night depending on where you want to stay, on the beach is much more expensive, also a cheaper hotel with an ocean view can get expensive, suffer a little and take the city view and save about 30% of the cost of an ocean view.
Aifare: watch for the specials on the travel websites, can get it pretty cheap depending on when you wish to travel.
