Married in Hawaii?
scotchbrandy asked:
Any suggestions on best time of year (July??), best island to get married, best resort? We’re not planning on having any guests – just the two of us so we’d like something private and not too touristy…

check into the sandals resorts, they are all inclusive, very very beautiful, and they plan the wedding for you, and they are all on gorgeous islands

When we were on our honeymoon in Maui (we stayed in the South part-Wialea, which is the driest on the island) we saw one wedding a day with just the couple (no guests, really) and just one musician and the person who was marrying them. I remember thinking how absulutely beautiful it was, and if I had to do it all over again I would do that. Some of the brides even wore big white wedding dresses. The weather was awesome and it was in the beginning of October. The most beautiful place we saw was the Maui Prince and the Grand Wialea. I don’t know if I spelled that right, but stay on the southern part of the island because in Oct/Nov the weather is the best. The Fairmont on Maui is south, and gorgeous, but might be pricey. The best and prettiest wedding deal was the Maui Prince in Oct. Good luck! And congrats.
